Dear Travel Professional --   Cancel For Any Reason Waiver

In these disturbing economic times SeaDream is introducing a policy whereby travelers who book voyages on SeaDream I and II, can change or postpone their SeaDream travel plans for up to 18 months for any reason. Provided they do so up to 48 hours prior to embarkation they will receive 100 percent yacht credit for the voyage tariff including government, port/handling and service fees. This yacht credit will be applied toward a future sailing on one of SeaDream’s ultra-luxury mega-yacht cruisers within 18 months of the cancellation.

This policy applies to new bookings and is fully outlined below as well as on our website.

Terms and conditions for the “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) waiver:

  • The CFAR waiver fee is $50 per person, min. $100 per booking per voyage.
  • The CFAR waiver is available for purchase at the time of deposit for all SeaDream guests, except guests booked in a group, bulk-buy or full yacht charter.
  • The CFAR waiver fee is refundable if the booking is cancelled 91 days or more prior to departure.
  • Cancellation and request for the Yacht Credit must be received at least 48 hours prior to embarkation.
  • A SeaDream Yacht Credit will be issued in the amount of the applicable cancellation penalty less the waiver fee and insurance premium, if any.
  • The Yacht Credit is void if an insurance claim is filed.
  • The Yacht Credit is valid for travel within 18 months of the cancellation date.
  • The Yacht Credit has no cash value and is non-transferable.
  • The Yacht Credit is applied as a voyage fare reduction on the new booking, and cannot be applied towards taxes & fees.
  • If the new voyage fare is less than the value of the Yacht Credit, then the balance is forfeited.
  • The Yacht Credit cannot be insured and is forfeited if the new booking is cancelled within 90-days of departure.
  • If the new booking is cancelled 91-days or more prior to departure, then the Yacht Credit can be reused as long as it is utilized before the expiration date.

For an additional $50 per person, you can add Travel Guard’s Select Plan that will cover the following:

  • Trip Interruption (Maximum Limit $25,000)
  • Travel Delay up to US $ 1,000
  • Baggage Delay up to US $ 500
  • Loss of Baggage and Personal Effects up to US $ 3,000
  • Medical Expenses up to US $ 20,000
  • Emergency Evacuation / Repatriation of Remains up to US $ 50,000
  • Travel Guard® Assistance
  • 24 hour Live Travel Assistance
