CRUISE AND TRAVEL UNIVERSITY TO SPONSOR PROGRAM ON MSC LIRICA

Fort Lauderdale, FL – September 4, 2008
Agents will be able to earn up to 65 credits toward CLIA certification by attending Cruise & Travel University’s next session aboard the MSC Lirica. The 7-day training event will depart on December 13. Ports of call will include Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Cayo Levantado. Many of the classes will be presented by Tom Cogan, CLIA’s National Director of Training. This Cruise and Travel University will help to alleviate the potential backlog of travel agents seeking certification as a result of CLIA's increased requirements to obtain the CLIA photo ID card.
“This is a great opportunity for those working towards CLIA certification to become eligible for CLIA’s ID card,” explains Charlie Dubinsky, president of Cruise and Travel Agents. “It will enable them to complete a significant portion of the new 2009 CLIA requirements, experience a great ship, have fun and learn a lot.”
