JOSE ITURBI INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION April 26, 2009 – Eastbound
Guests sailing the April 26, 2009 Crossing will be presented with "Cunard Command Performances" by the winners of the prestigious Jose Iturbi International Music Competition, a world-class classical music competition for vocalists and pianists presented by Cunard. First Prize Vocalist Angela Meade and First Prize Pianist Mariya Kim (pictured with Donelle Dadigan, Jose Iturbi Foundation President) will join the voyage. Cunard Insights will also present a question and answer session with the young virtuosos during the voyage.

| As part of our ongoing mission to support artistic excellence in the performing arts, Cunard has formed a partnership with the National Symphony Orchestra. Guests onboard the September 8, 2009 Crossing will delight in performances by The Kennedy Center Chamber Players, a group of National Symphony Orchestra principals. Joining the engagement will be Nigel Boon, Director of Artistic Planning. He brings with him a long and prolific background in music publishing, production, marketing and management.

ROYAL GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY April 14, 2009 – Eastbound |

| QUEEN MARY 2 will welcome a member of the Royal Geographical Society onboard the April 14, 2009 Crossing. Meet Paul Rose, past vice-president of the RGS and recipient of Her Majesty The Queen's Polar Medal for his 10 years as Commander of the Rothera Research Station in Antarctica. He frequently appears on BBC TV and U.S. National Public Radio. The Royal Geographical Society was founded for the advancement of geographical science. Members have included David Livingstone, Sir Ernest Shackleton and Sir Edmund Hillary, to name just a few pioneering explorers and adventurers.
