BURMA UPDATE
Our two Burma ships are still in the Irrawaddy River Delta and they are acting as field hospitals and supply centers. A large team of local doctors and nurses are on board. A British charity organization Merlin www.merlin.org.uk have been handed over the ships and they have converted the dining rooms to clinics. We produce fresh water on board in an attempt to satisfy the dire need for water. Our Burma appeal has raised more than $650,000 from donors worldwide. Please see www.pandaw.com

New Ships with Colonial Elegance
These deluxe new ships will enable you to visit Saigon, the ancient temples at Siem Reap and Phom Penh. Rice fields and bicycles still rule in this rapidly evolving, history filled region.
These small ships can penetrate remote and otherwise inaccessible areas. Pandaw offers a real adventure experience, travelers are cushioned with incredible comfort, fine dining, great cocktails and choice wines, not to mention extraordinary levels of service.
The m/v Orient Pandaw and the m/v IndoChina Pandaw being crafted in Saigon's shipyard will be the pride of our fleet. These boutique ships are designed and finished as replicas of colonial river steamers. And they have the highest passenger to space ratio of any ships afloat. Also, they are roomy. There are only 30 staterooms located on two spacious decks.
Maiden voyages are September 29, 2008 and January 14, 2009, respectively. |
