STARS has created a win-win situation for those entities who support higher standards for the travel agent and desire higher recognition for those serious professionals. We have created two great programs that will serve our non-members consisting of suppliers, large or small, travel agencies, host agencies, training facilitors, and specialty product providers. | |
| STARS, a non-profit organization, was created to recognize the true individual Professional Travel Agent and to provide its members with bi-partison access to continuous training and to recognize them for their achievements. STARS has strict membership requirements to insure that its members are the best of the best. STARS is controlled and directed by its travel professional members via its Members' Advisory Board. |
| OUR TWO GREAT PROGRAMS
Preferred Supplier Program
Our Preferred Supplier program limits the number of suppliers that we will accept and are now subject to approval by our Members Advisory Board. Preferred Suppliers will have access to our individual members via login to the members site. Preferred suppliers must place a value on these serious travel professionals and recognize them through individual commission overrides or participating in future STARS events.
We have a special opportunity for Preferred Suppliers that will includes no fees through 12/31/09 for those suppliers accepted prior to 5/31/08. The annual fee will be $500 from 1/1/10 if you should wish to remain in the program. JUST TWO WEEKS REMAINING TO THIS OFFER.
Strategic Supporter Program
The STARS membership is limited only to the individual Travel Professional. However, we realize, that to achieve our goals and mission, all segments of the travel industry must recognize and support our efforts to make STARS the premier organization for the serious travel professional.
We would like to offer our friends who do not qualify as a Preferred Supplier because they are in a different segment such as a travel agencies, host agencies, training and educational, specialty or smaller suppliers etc. an opportunity to become a strategic supporter of STARS.
There is a one time single $50 fee to cover administrative costs. Your company will be listed on the STARS website with a link to your website in addition to our benefits including future webinars |

Thank you for considering our new organization. As a founder of PATH, the Host Agency organization and its past President and former Board member, I believed that PATH would be successful and it is. Creating the non-profit organization STARS that works directly with and recognizes the serious Travel Professional, while at the same time separating them from the pseudo and referral agents has always been a strong desire.
